For the primary Airspace hangar, probably two hours, more of you use the child and family friendly interactive learning exhibits. The hangars where they maintain the airworthy warbirds would take another hour at least. Finally, the American Air Museum would take an hour.

Do you have to book Duxford?

There is no requirement to book in advance for any of our branches. Visitors, including members, are welcome to turn up on the day.

Are Museum planes airworthy?

Most of the planes are airworthy and flown at the museum during flight demonstrations and at air shows throughout the year. Some being the last flight-ready aircraft of their time, and all of them being one of a kind. The museum is open to all.

Can you take food into Duxford?
