Which is the cold weather parka rank insignia?
Sailors now have the option to use the cold weather parka rank insignia on the NWU Type III parka, black fleece liner and shirt, according to a NAVADMIN released Thursday. The order applies to E-4 through O-10 personnel. The insignia’s background is solid black with gold, silver and scarlet thread and slides onto the NWU Type III rank tab.
Can a CWP rank insignia be worn on an E-4 Parka?
Effective immediately, the change was announced Oct. 29 in NAVADMIN 292/20. It allows wearing of the black CWP rank insignia with the NWU Type III parka and shirt as well as with the black fleece liner for all ranks, E-4 through O-10.
