Is Goodwill accepting donations in Connecticut?

We accept donations at any of our fifteen Goodwill Stores, our seven Attended and four Unattended Donation Centers, and numerous Donation Bins throughout Southeastern Connecticut and Rhode Island. Please keep in mind that only clothing, shoes, and books can be put in our Donation Bins.

Is the goodwill taking donations?

Goodwill accepts donations of gently used clothing, household items and furniture. Donations can be made at our stores and donation centers. The list below is to be used as a guideline. There are many items we can sell in stores that are not on the list.

What is Goodwill not taking?

Unfortunately, due to safety, legal or environmental concerns, Goodwill cannot accept the following: Furniture that is covered in animal hair, broken, worn, torn, stained, or missing parts.

How do I donate to lockdown?

Where to donate?

  1. Donate at your nearest TRAID Clothes Recycling Bank (open during lockdown).
  2. Donate at your local TRAID charity shop (hopefully from 12 April). We have 12 shops in London.
  3. Book a free home collection from Thursday 1st April if you live in or near London.
