IMO both are great connectors. The Deans are great but the problem is these various fake Deans that come with ESC and batteries etc – some of them are hard to connect with the real Deans. Also the Deans are a bit difficult to solder sometimes. Have to be very careful to not overheat.
Can a Deans micro plug be used as an adapter?
A bit off topic, I soldered a Deans Micro Plug to a regular Deans Ultra Plug directly ( no wires), for use as an adapter. Serendipitous. Btw, unlike most RC connectors, the Deans Micro connector is not immune to reverse polarity plugging. It may look like it is, but be careful. Don’t ask how I know this…
