Are Open Polytechnic courses NZQA approved?

Open Polytechnic is a NZQA Category 2 provider. If you are an international learner living in New Zealand, with a valid work visa, you may be able to study with us part-time, provided you first meet the entry criteria for the programme you wish to enrol in.

Can I transfer to another polytechnic?

If you want to transfer to a different Polytechnic, you would have to withdraw from your current course and wait for the next admission exercise to apply (E.g. JAE or DAE). Do also note that a direct transfer to another Polytechnic will not be possible while you’re currently pursuing a Polytechnic course.
